SHOPOHOLIC FOR KEBAYA ???

If you ask my junior high up to college mates....none of them will say that I love kebaya. " What???? MissVee wearing kebaya ???? Not a chance man !!!"
Hi...hi.... that was me in my younger, carefree days ..... :)

But that all change... now that I'm getting more mature and especially when I start preparing for my wedding..................I have become a KEBAYA FREAK......... I learn a lot about kebaya, the fabrics, the design and the place to shop for kebaya's material ( fabrics, crystals, etc).....
Diligently browsing for the kebaya design and the kebaya makers......

Dari yg nggak pernah plus males belanja kain..... bahkan untuk kawinan saudara kandung sendiri selalu menolak pake kebaya ..........jadi gila belanja bahan brokat buat bikin kebaya ............... ampyuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnn dehhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Salah satu bukti kegilaan belanja adalah saat Sabtu lalu bersama designer ku ( jeunk Nenk) hunting bahan kebaya dari Mayestik sampe ke De Moda Fatmawati..........Cari bahan kebaya untuk gereja, adat karo dan resepsi nasional.

Mayestik udah diputerin cuman nggak dapet warna dan motif bunga yg cocok, sampe akhirnya kita "nyangkut" di De Moda Fatmawati ( My fave place to shop for bahan kebaya.... luas, harga bersahabat,nggak sumpek,mbak-mbak-nya baek)

Nenk nggak nemu bahan yg cucok... ada yg motifnya bagus tapi warnanya salah.... ada yg warnanya bener tapi motifnya nggak bagus. Akhirnya kita beli france lace putih buat dicelup sama jeung Nenk...

Buat adat, akhirnya aku terpaksa merelakan salah satu koleksi bahan-ku buat dipake jeung nenk .....hiks...hiks.....Tapi nggak pa pa kata Nenk, khan nanti kebayanya yg make aku juga

Akhirnya belanja bahan 90 % selesai,masih akan ada sedikit bahan lain yg akan kita beli setelah nenk selesai men-celup bahan-ku. Maka berpisahlah kami, dan aku makan siang di KFC sebrang De Moda

I don't know why, I just can't seems to get rid of the thought of loosing one of my france lace collection... mungkin history mendapatkan bahan itu penuh dengan cerita, karena terpaksa menunggu 2 jam di Pronto Ps Baru ( krn barang-nya musti diambil dari gudang mereka dulu katanya). So, I finish my meal and head straight back to De Moda and bought the new one .... different color of course...

Then I went home, put it in the box along with my other laces..... sambil menata ulang susunannya... I began to wonder, what am I going to do with this so many bahan kebaya ??? Am I a kebaya freak now ????

I look at the sample of kebaya designs I've collected this past few months,complete with little notes on the alteration I will asked my kebaya makers to do, the various colors of my laces ... and exhale admitting ... " Yes, I am a kebaya freak" .... :)

Ini lho kebaya Zohra ku.... lumayan OK sih.... tamu undangan pada muji karena nampak glamour dengan full payet-nya yg berkilauan............ cuman masih belum sreg aja

Hore .... akhirnya aku sudah memantapkan diri dan hati untuk menunjuk NENK BOUTIQUE sebagai desaigner pembuat kebaya gereja, resepsi adat dan resepsi nasional
Why ????

1. I Love her works ..... simple and elegant...
2.I Love her sketch design for my kebayas...................... again simple, elegant , glamour at the same time.....
3. She's creative and attend to every details of my kebaya..... I can see her passion and that's exactly what I needed...... designer who trully care and put every bits of their passion to make my kebayas perfect for me.
4. She's a good friend and good motivator..... someone I can trust.....

Harganya...... nggak bisa bilang murah... dan nggak bisa bilang mahal juga. So, let us see after the production finish...
